Furnished living and dining rooms offer dining tables and chairs, sofas, side tables with lamps, coffee tables, walnut tall tables, pictures and mirrors. There is a 24-hour on-call emergency service.

AREA INFORMATION

The entrance to Empire Square is via the concierge entrance which is located at 34 Long Lane. The development is just a few moments' walk from Borough and London Bridge stations, which service Northern and Jubilee lines as well as main line services to south and south east London. Guests can easily walk to the city in less than 15 minutes. Each of our locations has been carefully chosen to offer the variety of characteristics that central London has to offer. Our Empire Square development is situated in the cosmopolitan Borough area offering easy access to the chic restaurants and bars along London’s South Bank and London Bridge and not to mention the well renowned Borough Market, which attracts traders from all over the UK and as far afield as Europe. This delectable market is a must for food lovers. The London Bridge area is steeped in London history with many sites and museums close by. Attractions include the Clink Prison Museum, the London Dungeons, Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Eye and Southwark Cathedral. TRAVEL INFORMATION

By Bus: Empire Square is serviced by 6 different bus routes. By Tube: - Take the northern line to Borough and exit the station. - Cross the road directly in front (Borough High Street) and turn left. - Cross Great Dover Street (again directly in front) and continue past the old Town Hall on the right (which is currently being renovated). - Take the next right onto Tabard Street and keep left onto Long Lane. The entrance to the 24-hour concierge is just ahead on the right. Please note that Empire Square is also known and branded as Tabard Square. By Rail: - Take a mainline train to London Bridge station and exit onto the main concourse. - Follow signs for Guy's Hospital and cross the footbridge. - Walk down the stairs and through the hospital grounds (Great Maze Pond Street) with the main entrance doors to the hospital on your left. - Exit out of the hospital grounds and take Crosby Row directly ahead. - Follow this road to the junction with Long Lane and turn right. You will now be walking parallel with Empire Square (on your left) and the entrance to the 24-hour concierge is just ahead on the left. By Car: The car park entrance to Empire Square is located on Tabard Street. Access to Tabard Street at this end is typically 'one way': - Turn onto Silvester Street from Great Dover Street. - Turn right onto Tabard Street and the car park entrance is situated just ahead, before Bright Horizons Creche on the left. - The entrance to the main concierge is on Long Lane, which runs parallel with Tabard Street. Tube times from London Bridge: - Canary Wharf on the Jubilee Line (8 minutes) - O2 (Indigo O2, O2 Arena) on the Jubilee Line to North Greenwich (11 minutes) - Wembley Stadium (Wembley Park Underground Station) on the Jubilee Line (30 minutes) - City Airport (25 minutes) - Heathrow Airport terminals 1, 2, 3 (42 minutes). To receive full confirmation from Marlin Apartments for your booking, photographic proof of your identity such as a passport or driving licence must be sent to the apartments before check-in. If the photographic ID is not sent prior to arrival, check-in is only possible between 15:00 and 19:00 Monday to Friday. Marlin Apartments cannot accept same day taken after 19:30 on Fridays.

It is very important that you contact reservations prior to arrival to receive your lock box number and directions to the property, if you have not received them or could not access your booking confirmation from Marlin Apartments directly via email.

Be aware that some credit cards incur a service charge for making payment. Please note payment is made at the time of booking in order to receive a confirmation from Marlin Apartments.
